Photoshop Color Modes In Photoshop we have various color modes that helps while working with images . It gives you an overview of the different color modes available for use in Photoshop and why to use them. It also helps you understand the bits/channel settings for the image modes. Understanding the Different Color Modes A color model is just a way translate the light captured in an image into a digital form that the computer can understand. Photoshop gives you color modes that match the most common color models. There are various types of color modes:- 1. Bitmap 2. Grayscale 3. Duotone 4. Indexed Color 5. RGB 6. CMYK To set the color mode of an image, Go to   Image > Mode and then select the mode you want to use from the main menu in Photoshop.  We will elaborate one by one color modes later on.

Open any of your image which you want to edit it. Go to Layer>Layer Style>Color Overlay. Use Soft Light for the Blend Mode. Apply a Green color (#008c2b). Next, we'll create a brush that will be used to make the shapes. Select the Rectangle Tool(U) and create a black rectangle. Then go to Edit>Transform Path>Skew. After that, go to Layer>Rasterize. Use the image below for reference. Right-click on the thumbnail of the layer and choose Select Pixels. Then go to Edit>Define Brush Preset, and create a brush. Rename it to Psdtuts+. After that go to the Brushes Engine (Window>Brushes) and edit the Psdtuts+ brush we've just created. Use the settings below.      Create a new layer and go to Layer>Layer Style. Let's apply some styles to the layer. We will use Gradient Overlay, Drop Shadow, and Inner Shadow. After that, with the Brush Tool(B), click a couple of times to create some shapes. ...
